Forest Bathing Walk
A Forest Bathing walk is a sensory experience of nature that invites you to slow down, connect with your surroundings and experience deep nature connection. It is an immersion in nature that is inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin yoku, which translates to ‘forest bathing.’
A Forest Bathing walk is a sensory experience that has the potential to bring relaxation and restoration through connection to the natural world. Studies are being done that show the potential of nature connection to enhance well-being, reduce stress, support the immune system and restore focus.
Walks are generally around two hours and take place in the South Okanagan.
Wisdom of Trees
This is an opportunity to walk among the trees, experience deep nature connection and listen for wisdom the trees may share. This will be a meditative experience, led by your senses and curiosity. There will be time spent in a group as well as time on your own to reflect and connect more deeply, which may include creative means (journaling, drawing, doodling, etc.).
